Slava started teaching part time after the birth of her daughter. She started teaching full time when Slava School of Music was created in 1997. Slava maintains the RMT (Registered Music Teacher) designation and is a full member of the Alberta Registered Music Teachers' Association.
While living in Calgary, Slava has participated and performed on the stage, in concert and before the television cameras.
Slava's love of teaching music (piano and voice) is very evident as she instills the passion for music and creativity to her students. Slava translates the language of music into images and patterns of life for all her students, from the youngest to the oldest.
